Founder of Origami Owl
So, who is this young Founder of Origami Owl…
She goes by Bella. Last name is Weems.
She had a dream and that dream was to own her very own car by her 16th birthday. She knew her parents weren’t going to just hand her a new car, she was told she has to work for it herself. So, she did. In fact, she started with a mere $350 and all the support her family could give her (not financially speaking that is). She sold her beautiful lockets to friends and family members after school, of course.
She felt in her heart that this was truly something different and special due to so many women were falling in love with her ‘Living Locket’ product. This all happened in 2010.
Bella was being asked by her friends and family if they could share and sell her Origami Owl products also!
We now stand at only a few years later with more than 60,000 Independent Designers across the USA. They too have the great opportunity as Bella did, with hard work and being consistent, they can also reach their goals and dreams by selling Bella’s jewelry at Jewelry Bars (just fancy words for home meetings).
Needless to say, Bella’s Origami Owl company has seen extreme success in these few short years. However, it is now more than selling jewelry, for it is about helping others to make a difference in their lives and others too. Bella teaches others to achieve all their hopes and dreams, as she did and continues to do so.
Oh yeah, Bella did buy her very own car. It’s a beautiful white Jeep that she actually named, Alice, her favorite Disney star…lol
She wants ‘you’ to be a part of also.
Ya know, this is one of those stories, for me anyway, that includes a younger person and just for that reason alone, it intrigues me and lets me know once again that you can do anything you want to, by working hard and never stopping!
Let’s move on to the review I was talking about earlier…
Lemme start with I’m neither for Origami Owl, nor against it. Just want to make that clear out front for you.
What they call their home office is ‘The Nest’. Trying to make it a homey type of business to join.
Their distributors that are out selling by having cute lil home parties, or maybe making that ‘warm list’ as all MLM’s tell you to do, calling all family members, calling every friend you ever had in your lifetime, or maybe just hitting up everyone you run into shopping, eating out or walking around the neighborhood, right! Well the name they give those sellers (perhaps you) is Independent Designers.
They preface their meetings by telling all their beliefs are to always show respect, love and honesty to the people who surround them and to always empower others, as well as yourself, to reach their dreams!
Pretty catchy and I think I like it….
They work hard and play hard too. Origami Owl puts on team building activities, dances, lunches and volunteer their time in efforts to always be a force for the ‘good’.
Origami Owl’s Mission Statement is:
To Be a Force For Good; to Love, Inspire and Motivate People of All Ages to reach Their Dreams and Empower Them to Make A Difference in the Lives of Others.
